Anybody else feel this way?
I don't know if it's my form or what, but whenever I do an all-out sprint (for example 100m or 200m), while I am running I feel like I can go faster, but that maybe my mechanics or something are off. Even right after, I'm tired, but not that bad.
It is really frustrating, because I feel like before I started doing distance running I had this other gear that I could kick into, but ever since I took up the sport I lost it.
And it is not a result of ignoring plyos or speed or other drills to keep my speed up. The school I go to does a lot of drills and fast stuff, and we're not high mileage. However, we do NOT do a lot of all out sprinting. Its just the rare times that I do run all out, whether its at the end of a race or a timed 200 that I feel this way.
Does anybody have a similar experience? What causes this? How to get that gear back? Thanks.
