I'm sure this has come up here before. I just finished watching a documentary on Discovery or History Channel or something similar about the bushmen of the Kalahari. One of the last scenes documented their hunt. Basically, it showed them shooting an animal with a poison arrow and tracking the thing for miles and miles at a run through the bush. For whatever reason, I got all pumped up watching these guys run down this wild animal. I know it's probably not a possibility for someone like me, but I'm wondering if anyone out there has ever taken part in something like this, either authentically maybe as some sort of research, or on your own, chasing down a deer or something like that. Sounds kind of silly reading it back to myself, but I really am curious. Maybe someday there'll be distance-runner safaris through the Kalahari, with a bunch of skinny-ass white dudes chasing down zebras and crap. Seems like it would be a really cool thing to do.
