I had a physical therapist recommend using drugs/supplements that people with osteoporosis use because I have had so many stress fractures in my career. I only get them in my femurs (3) and hips (2).
Has anyone had any success with this or have a strong opinion either way? Would there be side effects down the road or would it even help? I've been taking calcium citrate w/ vitamin D, but very consistantly. I used to be a 90mpw guy in college, but I can't even get above 30 miles a week without developing stress reactions in the old locations of my injuries.
Any suggestions?
