ok a little background... I am a junior in high school, mostly run the 800 and mile. My PR's sophomore year where 2:18 in the 800 at my league finals, and 5:21 in the mile towards the begining of the season. I saw myself as more of a speed kind of guy
this year i think I have a lot more endurance, I hit a 5:06 4 weeks ago in the mile, feel like I can go under 4:55...
the problem is that the fastest time in the 800 i have hit so far is a 2:20!
idk whats wrong, i just dont do good....
and now is the question... what time do you guys think i can hit in the 800 based off of these workouts...
8x400 w/ 1 min rest, all between 69-74
didnt feel completely dedad, but pretty tired towards the end
and today I did a workout out of 2x200, both in about 33, then 2x400, 69, 68.
in between all of the reps we got about 1 min rest
then we did a a fartlek, 4mins hard, 1 easy, 4x's.
then a 400 (68), 200(30) , and 150 buildup.
So.....
any predictions?
