Come on. Seriously. I'm a huge Hall fan and would love for him to win but you're only voting for him because he's american. TOp 5 would is totally possible, top 3 would be huge but to win over that field....come on.

yes. god told me so.
ts called picking your favorite runner to win you idiots. People do it in every sport. For example the giants over the pats in the superbowl i am sure everyone in new york chose the giants to win although their chances looked slim..and hey they ended up winning so who knows what will happen? But really get a grip and stop talking about the damn poll, people are just showing support you guys take yourself way to seriously
C'mon. People are just excited. Let them be excited. Not everything has to be totally rational.
And no, I didn't vote for Hall, I voted for Wanjiru.
Yes, 39% of me thinks Hall will win
7% of me has no opinion. that's the part that's is writing this.
i agree, hall is too young, and wanjiru may be as well. Look at all the badass marathoners of all time, how long did it take them to win? look at Geb and Tergat, it took them a few tries each before they were on top of the world and they were both way way better than Hall when they were younger
I voted for the Japanese Kenyan, myself. Must be the devil in me.
it has to be a bunch of High School clowns who don't really follow the sport thinking Hall is going to win. Sure, he has a shot, but perhaps a 1 in 15 shot of winning. Lel, Wanjiru and Limo are going to be tough to beat. Hall will have to produce 2:06 or better to win- including a last 800 of 2:10 or better
This is letsrun, if you have a blonde, blue eyed American marathoner, of course he is going to win.
Ryan Hall you say?
They all thought the question was about "Ron Paul". And yes, 39% of this board still thinks Ron Paul will win.

why does everyone assume highschoolers are stupid. I'm in Highschool and I KNOW wanjiru is going to eat a hall sandwich. I'll bet its the same middle aged fan-boys that voted mottram most likely to win WXC

Say it loud, say it proud, brotha!
I fear all of the media hype will lead to a beating not unlike a certain Italian Stallion suffered at the hands of one Clubber Lang circa 1982. Fortunately, our young hero will return to his old school training, sprinting in the sand, frolicking in the surf... and score a decisive comeback victory in Beijing.
