It was a good story but now to some serious action four #1 seed in the Final four for the first time. I'm still pulling for the Heels!!

How could you not consider Davidson a "serious" team after seeing what they have done?
Maybe I worded it wrong... I wasn't slamming Davidson but referring to four #1 seeds making the Final.
Curry's a real talent, but he threw up 16 three-point shots today and made four. Davidson needed a Plan B
I agree....Curry is awesome, but looked very tired today, particularly in the 2nd half. Good run for Davidson, though..
And they still only lost by 2.
Imagine if the last shot went in and Curry got the assist.
For #1's is a decent story, but that would have put some real interest in this tournament.
I was just interested in the Davidson game this weekend and now I am not too excited about the Final 4.
i was pretty tired of hearing about curry honestly. Their point guard was unbelievable too, but nary a peep from the media regarding his performances. I'm also pretty sure if I heard the announcers call him "Steph" one more time, I was going to break my television.
the point guard can drive and pass, but he made some pretty bad decisions and he is a poor shooter...he didn't deserve the press curry got. Curry was playing better than anyone else in the tourny

he referred to himself as "Steph" on PTI last week. His teammates call him that.
What can't the media?
as a davidson grad who has watched this particular team for 2 years, i couldn't be prouder of what they did and how they did it. they won and lost with class and humility. i would rather have won, but giving kansas a scare and being the only losing elite eight team not to be beat by 10+ was better than last year. we're the only team that looked like it belonged in the elite eight besides the #1's! this final four will be fun to watch, but not as fun as it would have been.
They proved they belonged there more than Michigan State and Texas did.
I thought for sure they were a team of destiny and the way the game played out at the end, it was the basketball gods giving them the perfect set up to win it with a 3 at the buzzer.
Curry was named Midwest Region Most Outstanding Player. That is the first time a player from a losing team has been named MOP in 14 years and only the 4th player EVER to score 30 or more in his first 4 tourney games. I was there this weekend and I can say with certainty that he is most definitely not overrated or over hyped in any way.

I had a picture in my mind of someone hitting a three at the buzzer and the place becoming total pandemonium. Give Kansas credit for defending that final possession really well.
Curry is definitely a talent -- he had some nice games against ACC teams in Davidson's non-conference schedule at the start of the season. He gets rid of the ball quickly, which reminds me a lot of watching his dad. Very few people can catch the ball and shoot it faster than Dell Curry could. That quick release on his jumper kept him in the NBA for a long time.
Who wasn't rooting for Davidson at the end and I even have KU winning the entire tourney? Curry was the main reason Davidson was even in the elite eight to begin with, but that scrappy, blue-collar Davidson defense was just fantastic throughout. Too bad Curry went cold late in the game -- I think he was like one for eight down the stretch? As far as the Cinderella story, Davidson definitely wasn't on a lot of people's radar screens, but anyone who had watched this team last year and watched their epic battles against UNC and Duke this year knew that that 10 seed was ridiculous. They were more like a five or six seed WORST case scenario. Still an impressive showing.
