Ok so its been six weeks since my stress fracture, the doctor said I could start running again as long as their is no sharp pain. I went to the track last night to test it out, I ran on the astroturf along the inside lane (the nice cushy kind). I ran at a pretty easy pace, I could definitely could feel a slight soreness but no sharp pain like I had when I ran with the stress fracture it was just dull. Is this normal? Should I wait longer until I have no pain at all. When I walk I have no pain at all. Yesterday I warmed up for 10 minutes, ran for 4, walked for 2, ran for 8, then walked again and finished up with a 4 min run. I feel totally fine today and planning to go back and run tomorrow.
