Can any of you guys from down under give any info on running in Boyer?
I'll be there for 1 or 2 weeks right in the middle of my build-up for Boston.

I now find that I will probably be staying in Hobart. Looks like a nice place based on what I see on the internet.
Can anyone comment on running there?
You'll have to check out the Hobart Running Co. They don't carry Asics, though, but I don't care because I'm not a fan anyhow.
been there..you wont have to worry about a lack of hills!
I'm from Hobart and there's some awesome places to train. Pipeline track at Fern Tree in particular is great for long runs. Plenty of quiet roads, trails, grass ovals, and a track 5mins from CBD. What sort of paces do you train at? If interested shoot through an email and I may be able to help you out a bit.
I was in Hobart for one day many years ago. Based on my one run there I would say you will have no trouble finding good places to run.
Make sure to check out the indoor tennis center. Tennis as it was originally intended!
you are a worthless globalist scumbag and if jesus christ had ever existed, he would not have died for you on the cross
Lucky! I was in Hobart for a few days and thought it was great. I liked it even more than Sydney. The climate is cool but moderate...the high temperature might hit the upper 60s/low 70s in the summer and it gets quite cool at night.
If you have the opportunity, rent a car and head to Port Arthur to see the old prison. You'll be standing on the edge of the world in a creepy place that's seen more than its share of tragedy. Try to see some of the natural attractions as well.
Like the other posters said, there are plenty of hills. I think there were some running routes that followed dirt roads detailed on runtheplanet.com. I think there's a private track in the Botanical Gardens area, but you might be able to contact locals to get in with a club.
