I click on the link. The most interesting thing to me is that AMD is one of the sponsors. Good for them, thinking out of the box and having a non-traditional sponsor for an endurance sport. Maybe running/T&F will catch up someday.
WHY DID HE REMOVE BOSTON?

We both know that taking him out of his everyday schedule for a couple of days is the only way to really focus his attention on the details necessary for him to run a 2:45 marathon in Boston.
Chris Carmichael
regardless of level, from novice to elite, it certainly takes more than a couple days to focuse on the details of running a marathon...it is more like months!
whether he is motivated enough to do the thing remains to be seen but lets not argue lance and atttention to detail. the man weighed his food back in the day.
His 1st goal is not to get caught.

Perhaps because he just ran a 2:46 on an arguably tougher course in New York? It seems to me, that taking only a minute off a 2:46 by April, then setting another goal of slashing another 15 minutes off in 7 months time is strange and incongruous.
Maybe they realize this and will perhaps revise and repost the Boston goal to something like 2:35 or at least sub 2:40?
Or, maybe they have just realized that he has a possible schedule conflict with the Boston race?
Okay. I attended a cycling training clinic coached by Chris Carmichael today and asked him about Lance's training goals for this year.
Yes, Lance is running Boston, and hopes for a 2:46 there.
He also definitely plans to run around a 2:30 for NYC marathon, and as Carmichael himself put it, "he's pretty serious about running."
He's also planning on competing in a mountain bike race in 2008...and he's not sure which one yet.
