Basically I have come across a job that I can not refuse. It would mean a lot for my family for me to take the job, which would basically double what I make now, and I am all for it. The only downside is the fact that I would have to work shifts and I am concern about how this may effect my running. My schedule would be as follows: two weeks of 7am until 3pm, then two weeks of 3pm until 11pm, then two weeks of 11pm until 7am.
How may this effect my running? How can I work around this? Is there anyone at letsrun who has any experiece training effectivly off of this schedule?
I am about a 35 minute 10K guy and I am currently mulling over racing a 30K in March. I just ran a ton of races from Aug. through the last week in November and I have not raced since then. In the last three weeks my mileage has been 68, 56, and 65. Can letsrun help me?
