I hope beyond hope that OSU beats LSU! Not because I like OSU but I have grown so tired of hearing people say the Big 10 is overrated and OSU is not that good. It would make my year just to see all these people that think they know so much to just go away.

I can see your argument, but OSU beating LSU isn't going to prove your point, especially if Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin and Penn State all lose. It'd be more compelling if OSU were the only Big Ten loss or one of just two.

By the way, I don't really see too many people saying that OSU isn't that good, just that they haven't played anyone yet and have not earned the right to be called the best in the country, even if they beat LSU.

fact is the season is over. after 4 weeks of krispy kremes, hardys, and dominoes, what do you think football players want, kegs of beer !

unless they play consistently all season with no more than 1 week off, then at the end of the regular season, go into an ncaa playoff brackets, we will never have an ncaa champion.

the bowls are just fun holiday demonstration games. nothing is at stake, how can it be after 4 weeks of no HGH injections ? should be fun to watch though.

I bet BC wins their bowl game BC tends to follow the pattern of playing well early, and inexcusably blowing 1 or 2 games. The aftermath is they get passed over for inferior/equal ACC teams who get into the money bowls(Gator and so on) because their rep is not being able to travel. They're then put into a bowl at Christmas or just before where they win. I think it's 7 straight bowls they've won. Michigan State is a patsy(3-5 in a weak Big 10). Michigan-BC would be a better matchup, but we'll see Florida blow them out instead.

There are only four games I am interested in watching.

Cincy to see Ben Mauk run around and throw td passes.

Hawaii and Colt Brennan to do the same.

The Big Ten will not win a bowl game. They suck!!!!!!

My daughter ran at Michigan, so I'm a fan. They just suck.

THAT'S going to happen. And you really think that OSU winning is going to shut anyone up, especially if they win in triple OT like lowly Arkansas and Kentucky? It's only going to create more controversy, but OSU will at least finally be able to claim that they are one of the four coveted teams that deserve a shot to playoff to determine who is best. They will finally have ONE credible win this year. And, if they don't win, well, they're not even in the top four.

And tell me, how is it that the team that is playing the best football in the Big Ten right now, the only team to beat OSU, is a two touchdown dog to USC?

USC was playing some really good football at the end of the year. Also being at the rose bowl illinois will be a little star struck playing in this game against a regular in this bowl(and annual national power house).

Bingo. So was Georgia, probably the best team in the SEC right now. Too bad we are not interested finding out who the best team in the country is, merely the BCS champ.

Funny that you write that. I read on another thread where someone pointed out that Big 10 v. SEC last year was 2-1 I think and the response was "The title game is what counts!".I need to find that post....
