By chance, would any antique runners happen to have this issue? Been looking and looking - even tried RW!
Thanx

I may have it, I'll have to check at home. Do you remember what the cover was?
I think it was the "scandelous" one with Derek Clayton and some blonde with protruding nipples. Shocking...quite shocking for the time....
Runner's World used to love the women with protuding nipples for their cover shots.
Penny DeMoss???

Right. I can look something up, but I can't part with it.

Yeah, I remember that issue. I have it somewhere buried in the basement.
it had Bill Rodgers on the cover and discussed the "five star" shoe ratings.. let me know if any of you have it and are willing to part w/ it - for a price, of course. Thanx much.
One of those covers highlighted the story, "My Coaching of Joan Benoit" by Lynn P.

I have that one! It has her and Tony Sandoval on the cover. Inside is the feature on how she advised Benji Durden to train for the heat, talked Joe Vigil into staying in the coaching profession, and convinced Bowerman to pour melted rubber on a waffle iron.
You'd better hurry, there's only about a day left.
That was f'n funny! Thanks for the Christmas card!
