If you have a broken or sprained toe, would you continue to run on it?
As long as it doesn't affect your stride, I was told by a noted DPM that it's OK. Big toe would probably be a problem.
Several years ago, I broke the two small toes on my right foot and running (ok...jogging) felt better than walking. Anytime I had any place to go, I'd jog there. Running hard was a bit painful but you'll get used to it.
I haven't been able to feel my Big toe on my right foot for 2years now, but only when I run XC which is weird. But I would so run on a broken toe
