any suggestions on a good type of space heater?
I live in an apartment and don't control the heat, but electric's included in my bill, so I'm figuring I should get an electric space heater....any recommendations?

where you do live?
I recommend getting a heated blanket. I always get really cold at night and it helps.
I'll warm you up tx

yea, it's not bad out, like 28 right now but the heat is set to like 60 or something, it feels too cold in my apartment for sure.
electric blanket....could work for sleeping, but when I'm working away on the puter I get real cold. Maybe like an electric bathrobe, do they make those?
The cheapest thing would be one of those small electric space heaters. They run about $40 at Homedepot. They won't warm up a huge room, but should be fine for small apartment rooms. You should only need one, just move it to which ever room your in. They have timers and a thermostat so you may be able to keep it on at night, but I wouldn't (fire danger). While in bed, you're probably better off just throwing on a couple more blankets.
Get a small ceramic space heater. These are very efficient and inexpensive and can easily heat a room up that extra 8-10 degrees. Just make sure you plug it in to an outlet with few other items or you could trip the breaker. Dry air will also make you feel cold. A small humidifier will make the room more comfortable.
These things rock...

The EdenPureTM is perfect for your home. It does not get hot and will not reduce humidity or oxygen like most space heaters.
A major cause of residential fires in the United States is portable space heaters. The EdenPureTM does not emit any type of fumes, like poisonous carbon monoxide, or any type of harmful radiation. It stays cool to the touch and will will not burn your children or pets

They are perfectly safe at night if used correctly. Aim them into an open area and keep everything a foot away from them on all sides. DO NOT use an extension cord. Plug them directly into an outlet. Most fires start in an undersized extension cord, not in the heater.

Are you the regional sales manager? My little ceramic heater does all that for $25 compared to your $500.
