Is it just me, or does Ron Paul sound like Piglet from The Adventures of Winnie the Pooh?
Ron Paul '08!
i don't agree with a lot of his views, but i've got a lot of respect for his no bs style. if we knew exactly where politicians stood, there'd be less surprises after elections.....anyway, i'm off to read about iran not actually having a nuclear (or nucyelar) weapons program, the body count in iraq, the deficit run up by a conservative government...
I prefer Romney since I'm Mormon. Romney made 100 million dollars in business and is no dummy.
Anybody that was STATE HS CHAMP in the 220 gets my support !
I support your political activism.
Ron Paul is a nut and he has no chance of winning. It is too bad he is a nut because I like some of his ideas. There is no way I could vote for him, but it is good people are getting excited to vote for someone.
Do you realize Ron Paul has the same initials as Ross Perot? (Most of you are not old enough to remember when Ross Perot was H. Ross Perot, so I don't expect any objections on that count.) And he's from Texas.
I see a pattern here.
I'll vote for Ron Paul. Nice hairdo.
Its pretty clear you have no clue what you're talking about. So I will help.
You state, I don't agree with his views. List me some of his views. Can you? Can you tell me why you disagree? More than likely not. Too many americans act like they know what they're talking about, act like they know politics, act like they know candidates views and have actual opinions about them, but they dont. Prove me wrong.
What we NEED is a conservative government. What we have been led by over the past 6 or 7 years(or 60 for that matter) is NOT a conservative government.
A conservative government would NOT be involved with the policing of other nations, it would NOT be involved with the nation building of other nations, it would NOT be spending 4 BILLION dollars per year supporting a country that does us NO good, a country that is causing GREAT conflict in the middle east.
The problem with the words conservative and republican today is that many people label themselves with those words, but are far from it. I can tell you right now, a majority of the republican candidates that say they stick to their conservative roots and are old school republicans with a strong focus on the US Constitution, are absolute liars. Its hard to find a real conservative. There are a couple.
i donated $100 to his campaign

Oh really? Is monetary gain the test for intelligence? I wouldn't boast to loudly about being a Mormon. You must willingly look past some fundamental errors to embrace your faith. You'll see how it pans out in eternity.
gee wiz, lets not turn this into a my jesus is better than your jesus thread. eeek!
i feel ya man. republican, democrat, they're all the same. i realized that right out of HS, and i decided i'd consider myself independent.
i like ron paul's idea of throwing out the Federal Reserve and the IRS. at first i was skeptical until i saw the documentary, America: Freedom to Fascism. do i like ron paul? i don't know yet. but i like him more than any other candidate so far.
So many issues revolve around one thing though. I would really like to spread the word, maybe help people here learn about the various areas to look out for during a presidential race, there is so much history to be learned. I just doubt anyone would listen, its a shame
