Hi I'm a senior in high school and I'm trying to get some advice on my winter training. I'm a 800-1500m runner. Heres what I did this week of training, how does it look?
Tuesday- 6 miles w/ 10x100m strides
Wednesday- 6 miles AM x20 200 @ 32-33 w/ 30 secs in between reps PM
Thursday-3 miles AM 10 miles PM
Friday- 5 miles AM 1 mile warm up- x20 1 min bursts w/ 1 min rest- 1 mile cool down PM
Saturday-12 mile LR
Sunday- 6 miles
Monday- AM- 8 miles PM-3x1000m @ mile pace, 6x400m @ 800 pace 9x100m @ 400 pace
