I think I also saw this pic in an ad in ESPN Magazine a few weeks ago....
Can't tell from the camera phone picture, but what is on the "whitespace" of the bib number? Anything?

Doesn't how body look out of proportion?--that is, her torso seems abnormally long.
"her" not "how"
That's just how she's built. Looks like her shirt is untucked, to boot.
As for the "whitespace", it says Indianapolis, IN at the bottom so it's probably from Outdoor Nationals this year.
If there is anyone in the world who is going to get to the bottom of this photo, I'm certain it will be one of those detectives from the "Lynn Petronella/One 4 the Ladies" thread....
This is one of the hottest running-related pics of late.

That sh*t is fine.
Looks like Regina from the neck down.

That's obviously been Photoshopped. Everyone knows she only runs on the zero-gravity treadmill.
Wejo, are you some kind of Nike troll now? For some reason I now want to buy a pair of Nike women's Dri-Fit half-tights...
See they're marketing department got you. (If you buy a pair of tights buy them from our links).
Someone wrote me this:
Rojo/Wejo,
I don't see what the big deal is with Nike fabricating the Kara Goucher photo. Adidas used to put out the "This road adopted by..." posters, and if I remember correctly they had several different athletes on the exact same road, and just photoshopped that particular athlete's name on the green road sign. Culpepper is the only one I remember being on there, but I know they had a girl too.
---
I don't think it really is a huge deal. I just think it is interesting and am glad it got sent to us. I'd prefer if Nike used an actual photo but otherwise it is just interesting.
Now please click on on our links and buy something. Hopefully the brainwashing is working.
WEJO! IS IT REALLY THAT HARD TO ASSUME, THAT MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, KARA GOUCHER KEPT, I REPEAT, KEPT HER BIB NUMBER FROM 2006 XC NATIONALS???? DURRRRRRRR? she IS free to use it anyway she cares to. my body. my choice.
DUR?

Listen ummmm, take your not so hidden agenda elsewhere can't you see we're talking about Kara here? Geeez, is nothing sacred anymore?
Is it just me or is her torso longer than her legs?

Also, she is wearing trainers on a cross country course.
and her legs are extremely clean, not a spot of dirt.
That's either a bad photo or a bad photoshop job. Horrible.
Alan
Who really cares? Its promoting our sport!
i have lots of respect for wejo/rojo but you think they'd consider before posting their assumptions as fact (that the pic was photoshopped) that Kara may have brought the # to the photoshoot. I've seen the pic in Sports Authority and it doesn't look even slightly photoshopped.
All ad photos are photoshopped.
