I have an opportunity to study in France for 5 weeks this summer, 1st week Paris, last 4 Montpellier. Now, my tentative plan is to get there three weeks early or so and try to do some traveling (though the schedule is pretty flexible). It looks like I'll be flying into London, because that seems to be the cheapest way to go. Incidentally, has anyone used AirTech to get tickets? Very cheap, but possible sketchiness?
I've been to Greece for a couple weeks after I graduated high school, but that was years ago, and while fun, I don't really want to go back. I'm basically looking for recommendations on places that are must-see, hopefully not too expensive, and not overly touristy. I "speak" barely passable Spanish, but that's it, other than English.
So, a girl from my class is going to be traveling with me, but I think it's just going to be the two of us. I was thinking Amsterdam, Prague, maybe Budapest, Italy. Any advice is welcome, from where to stay and how to get around, to what to do, how to live fairly cheaply, etc.
