This is the type of story that shouldn't be reported in the first place. The news media, especially television, love to report the most sensational, "entertaining" stories such as this one so that middle class Americans can thank God that their lives are so much better than the "vile trash" that live in Texas. Reading this article did not make me better off, it did not inform me of anything that can help me in life, it simply recounts a story of a sad incident that only affected a single family for the entertainment of the thousands of readers who need some sort of excitement in their 9 to 5 lives. It's upsetting that this is even considered "news."
