Sorry if this has already been posted. I know it's been up for a few days, but I just watched it today. Daniels says exactly what I've been thinking since I got serious about running 3 years ago. So many people have the talent to be great runners, but most never try and those who do often are not willing to give it a serious try. They're happy just to hang out on the team and run 3-5 miles a day. Just on my high school team I can think of 5 guys who all could have been 9:00 to 9:25 3200m runners if they would have been serious about running. Instead they ran 9:40-10:00 off of 30mpw and no out-of-season training. What a shame.
