If a female runner who was always pretty skinny (5 ft 7 110 pounds) gained 30 pounds due to surgery, poor diet, and inactivity.
#1. How much slower will her running be?
#2. What can be done on top of running and eating well to get back to prior shape and fitness? Any supplements that would speed up weight loss and turn fat into muscle?
As a coach, I obviously don't want to instill an eating disorder in her by telling her to eat less, but is there something I could to help her push this process along? Being out of shape and "fat" is terrible...
