Is there a way that I can find out which political party I am registered with? It's been many, many years since I first registered to vote and I have no idea which box I checked.

Don't vote, you obviously don't know what you are doing. If you haven't educated yourself on this civic responsibility, then be smart enough to not vote. We have enough people already voting on stupid things like looks, how a candidates speaks, height and entertainment news propaganda.
here is an easy to follow guide.
step 1 - kill yourself
step 2 - stay dead
the I-don't-give-sh*t-party.
stupid things like looks, how a candidates speaks
you honestly think that those qualities are unimportant for the leader of our country? looks, that is debatable, but i would argue that it is very important.
and how a candidate speaks? that is not important? that is the stupidest thing i have ever read. how can that not be important? the ability to speak well is probably the MOST important attribute of a successful president.
who the hell cares? what does this have to do with running? please don't talk about politics in a peaceful environment like a running community... i get enough of that shit from the media.
The reason I do not know which party I belong to is because I make educated decisions on all the candidates I vote for; I don't just vote along party lines like most party members. Imagine how betrayed Vermont Republicans who voted for Jim Jeffords just because he was a Republican, then ended up jumping ship. Had they evaluated him based on his individual stances rather than those of the party, they would have nothing to complain about.
what an original and free-thinking soul you are runSE
but still, gonna go ahead and say f*** you
I quit voting years ago. I spend my time analyzing how I can best utilize the decisions made by whoever is in office for the most benefit to me.
Don't click on the thread then.
As for party affiliation, parties are a pointless part of the system that happened to develop and never went away. Be an independent.
If you registered with a party, then it'll be right on your Voter Registration card...
To which political party do I belong?*
If you are a veteran, then you belong in the Democratic Party. Most veterans are Democrats.
