I'm a senior in college and I just needed some advice. I ended up taking about 3 months of from running after about 6 months of terrible training so it felt like starting all over again...anyways cross season just ended here and I was curios of whether or not I should take a week or two down or begin back to base phase for indoor here right away. I usually train at about 80 miles a week, more during base but I just want to make sure I can make it through track, mid/late may. I have run 15:27, and 32:09. I was thinking I could start back at it right away since I have only really been training or about 10 weeks here, I ran 26:43 for 8k on my way to finally getting back to shape. Would this training cycle be to long or not?
