Are you purchasing Leopard tomorrow?
Are you purchasing Leopard tomorrow?
No, I bought a monkey today.
I'll purchase it. If not tomorrow, sometime in the near future.
I'm going to wait a little bit for a couple of reasons. 1 till I have more money, 2 until I convince my brother that he wants it too so we can get the family version. Does anyone know how many computers you can install it on with the family version?

Five, I believe.
Five, as stated.
But I was in my local Apple store yesterday and overhead two "Geniuses" (arrgh, what nonsense) answering a question about installation by saying "there's no serial number."
If I heard correctly, and if they were right, and if that implies what they (and I) thought it did, then you're going to have an examine your personal software ethics and proceed (or not).
Not heading to the 6PM launch, but picking it up on Saturday morning. I'll probably wait a few days to a week to install it. Just want to hear experiences from the masses before I upgrade.
If it weren't for Time Machine, I would probably stick with Tiger. TM looks so nice and easy for backups.
Mac OS's have never had serial numbers...
I'm going to wait until my University has a campuswide license and I can download the DVD image for free.

http://joffroirunning.comNot tomorrow, but soon.
No, I'm waiting for SP1
Already bought it, supposed to be delivered today.
Any reviews ?
I am thinking about it.
No, but I've held off on a new computer purchase until the release. Maybe in a week or so I'll have a computer 20X faster than my old iMac, and Leopard to boot.

I picked it up last night. I am very pleased. The new finder is excellent. For people like me who have been using iTunes for years, it seems very intuitive. Spaces is very useful, and the small adjustments to programs such as iCal and Mail are also very helpful. No bugs to report thus far.
I recommend it.
Slim, thanks for the review, do you mnd sharing the cost ?
Yeah it's pretty wicked, i installed it last night and it's pretty much everything i've expected....if you've watched all the videos on apple for the product I guess there aren't really to many extra surprises but the stacks are pretty awesome and the cover flow is pretty sweet in the finder too.
"Mac Genius" - that is code for "I will never have sex with another person, other than myself, without a cash transaction taking plac".
No, that's Linux. Mac users are, however, generally A)homosexual or B)extremely self-satisfied.
