Let's look at two of your posts copied below.First you attack someone for not being a "real runner". You criticized someone, and other posters, about a situation you completely fail to understand. Learn to respect what people say. Don't claim you have been in a situation you clearly have not experienced. Yes, the Malibu fire is over a SMALL part of the coast. I know. My girlfriend's ex lives in the evacuated fire zone, and that's where my girlfriend's young daughter was for the weekend. The Malibu fire IS headed towards her ex's ocean view, hillside home. So I know exactly what's happening in Malibu form the direct experiences of my girlfriend, her ex, and her daughter.I also happen to live less than 1 mile and downwind, from the Witch Creek Fire in Carlsbad. There is some smoke but mostly it's sunshine. There is some ash falling, but it is very light. There is no noticeable smoke smell. I ran for an hour this morning, and I have no black lung snot coming up.I have been much closer to fires than this. I did not run but was outside packing things and getting a bit of a workout. I hacked up black garbage from my lungs for more than a day.You don't need to leave this site. All you need to do is understand that your limited personal experience with a situation is not the same thing as someone else's real life experience. You may not read this post, but that doesn't matter. What matters is that others might read it and realize that jumping conclusions and being critical will only lead to your getting the same treatment back. Call it a much needed learning experience. If you can accept and understand that you'll be okay. Good luck!POST NUMBER 1
