what do you all think of wind effects on runners of different weights
Take a lightweight 1500 meter runner with a say 2.5 meter/sec wind rating, now to me that wind would have less effect on a runner weighing 10 or 1( pounds more, because
the wind would have less effect on a bowling ball than it would on a leaf or a sheet of paper.
Now you're going to say it evens out when the wind is behind you, but does it can you increase your heart rate to compensate for the extra stride length/frequency needed, it's not like a car rolling down hill in neutral is it, you still have to turn your legs over.
Any thoughts?
