First kiss? Ha. While I am looking forward to the male to female ratio, I already have a boyfriend. And doesn't wejo have a girlfriend? Sorry to crush your dreams.

Wejo, listen to me, YOUR HAIR IS JUST FINE.
txRUNNERgirl, how the f*** did you get a column on flotrack? You're an asshole at your very best. A fat asshole for the most part.
I think you took it the wrong way. I like wejo's hair.
No you are misconstrued. I saw your handle only after I had responded for the first time. I actually wanted to mention this to you for a while. Thanks for understanding.
let's get this back to the matter at hand.....
I would suggest the Blarney Rock to start-- it's mid-town, near MSG and the Hotel Penn-- it's the starting point for post-Millrose festivities
I forget the name of the place everyone goes to after, it's over by the UN I think, there's Eamon Coughlin's room downstairs from the bar.... I'll get the name and directions later today or tmrw if it works for our purposes
BANT!
How about Fam's pad in NYC. I'm sure he would mind a couple hundred of his favoirte LetsRun friends stopping by.
this is for marathon fans. Milers/half milers have no interest in seeing a 2 hour 22 minute marathon.
Wejo - whatever happens with this, would you mind posting location/time on the main page so we don't have to go searching for this thread in a couple weeks?
There will be a huge party with lunch put on by Brooks. 11-3 pm. I think they are sending out 700 plus invites. If you are interested send the Hansons a email and I am sure you can get an invite. They are promising a great celebration and are guaranteeing no Latimer or Estes. Although it could get interesting if eitheer of them had the guts to show up in a hostile environment.
bump
I am there, wherever there is.
Any updates either way???
Well, if anyone is interested, my friends and I will be at the Gin Mill (Amsterdam between 81st and 82nd) after 9pm on Friday night. It is a few blocks west of Central Park for those of you not familiar with NYC. Special guest 3 time Olympian and 1999 WC Bronze medalist in the 50 K race walk (yeah I know race walking has been compared to who can whisper the loudest, but Curt is a great guy) Curt Clausen. If you need to know what I look like, google Scott Winrow (I was a stellar 77th at the 2006 4k XC in Van Cortland Park. Photo is on MensRacing.com site. A has been never was, too old to race, but it was fun). Good bar, good food, plenty of TV's to watch sports and the normal crowd is very easy on the eyes. Hope to see some of you there, if not, see ya Saturday in the park.
My friends and I are going out Friday night, so we might stop by.
go costello!!!!!
Emory Mort will be drinking on somebody's roof in Brooklyn.
someone with authority and knowledge of NYC please pick a place, this could be a pretty fun saturday night. Being close to the Trials Meet Hotel sounds like a good idea. Make sure it's a big place without a strict dres code... for some reason some of us distance runners (I swear it's not me) wear their "sneakers" out to the bars.
Dang it, I was going to wear my sneakers.
