Pierre ran a great race in Udine, finishing first non african and non asian in the race.
Pierre ran a great time - 61:36, and even though I suspect the course was slightly short (30 seconds - 45 seconds short) - he still ran very well. Moving up from 40th position at 5km, and passing runners the whole race.

Training: Up till now, Pierre has not been a great mileage man, only training once day for an average of 60 minutes a day, with some occasional long runs. The track sessions are classic repeats of 1000's with shortish recoveries, but not so fast....mostly in the 2:50 range.
Pierre has great potential, and you can see by his progression, that he is not one of those drug wonder boys who suddenly emerge on the world scene.
