Should I do an interval workout, a speed workout, and a tempo run year-round?
I've noticed you've been posting a lot. Read the locked message boards, the ones by luchaine and carolinarunner. you'll learn a lot from that. Remember though. Train like you are now. Don't train on how you want to be in a year. This stuff takes time. Tempoes year round are the best though, imo.

If you vary the intensity of the workouts according to how you feel and how fit you are , it is a good way to train.
If you keep the same intensity year round, it's not a good way to train.
