For some odd reason, I don't think its any of your decisions to decide who should be ranked and who should not. Obiously the officials deciding on the rankings are more qualified. DBU is ranked; deal with it.

No way they will be top 10 in the region. Maybe top 15.

The officials are more quailified????
Well then ask them who northwest baptist is and why Fort Hays is ranked in two spots.
To me it looks like a messed up poll!!
Ya, but how many of those guys were average.... or subaverage in high school??? Those guys have been running fast all there lives! I have more respect for guys that have to work hard to be fast, than guys who have the natural ability to be fast! There is a difference!

He has a good point!
I have respect for guys that work hard to be fast too, no matter what their time is. If they are working hard then that is great. And those rankings are all jacked up. I think the fort hayes coach makes them, maybe that is why he ranked his team twice.
these kids need reality. you don't find that at d2 schools!

Then DBU should be ranked 9th.
Men's South Central Regional Ranking

This is the actual ranking.
I thought all D2 schools did not give athletic scholarships? Am I wrong? Or why does only DBU not have any scholarships?

And what is your point? I didn't even know this school existed but it sounds like they are getting better. I am sure none of them are quitting school and focusing on running since they are ranked 10th in their region, but if it is the first time a school has been ranked in the region that is something for them to be excited about.I remember when my school was first ranked in our region for D1 xc, we knew we had no chance of qualifying but it was nice to get noticed. All the schools that you listed have a history of good programs recently so I am not surprised that they have a better team.

exactly.
I think the whole scholarship thing was brought up because this is one of the only schools in that region, maybe even the only, to not recieve scholarship for the men. So, many of their competitors whom they are ranked on top of are recieving scholarship. Who needs scholarship to run fast anyway???
i certainly don't need money to run fast!!!
Glad to see this..my father ran for them..never liked running cross country but i see they have come far. Great job

we need to just let this thread die. Jacob and his fellow dbag runners are just ejaculating with all the press they are getting on here right now.
unless of course someone wants to dig up the threads where he was taking about some girl he wanted to marry but she was not intersted or something.....that shit was funny and it showed how big of a nutcase he was.
If your so much better than Jacob why don't you say who you are instead of being a jerk and hiding behind a message board?
Why don't you talk to the people who are around him everyday? See what they have to say about the kind of guy he is rather then listening to people talk about him on this rediculous site that only know him from this site.
Jacob Phillips is a great guy.
