They are all inestimably faster than I am.
1. None were ever world champions.
2. None won Olympic Gold? (You named Dixon twice BTW).
Whatever the answer is, that's a good trivia question.
You little Jiminy Cricket pest bastard! (What's that from?)
You task me. BTW by Medcalf do you mean Eric Metcalf? Is Whitherspoon the same as Mark Witherspoon from ACU?

Above cannot be right, as Coughlan won WC 5K in 1983, and Quarrie won OG 200 in 1976, and Herb Elliott won 1500 OG in 1960.

OK, it's a two letter or same letter thing. It has something to do with their names, not their achievements. But the exact formula still escapes me.

When we are finished with dinner and the 1996 Rondan Rioja I'll give you another clue.
all went to American colleges?
OK, I'll agree with Satch. They all competed in the NCAAs, if Elliot is Clark or John and Dixon is Fred.

They might all have had carrots at least once in there lives and they went to school sokmewher but the common thing is directly related to track and field.
Presumably, it has something to do with the US Trials, but it's not that they're all foreigners that competed there, because guys like Graddy are US citizens.
