Seriously, there are so many trails in the area it's ridiculous. Email rojo or wejo maybe. Otherwise, at the end of "monkey road", there are several miles of trails along the river (run straight back, and pick a place to go left, or right, or straight across the steel bridge that's falling apart). buttermilk falls can be spectacular, but i don't think the trails there are as nice. we do a run called "doublecross" near what is called the ithaca reservoir on google maps, i forget what the park there is called -- there are trails on both sides of the river, and people like to climb up the cliff and jump into the river above the dams. there's also the finger lakes trail system, which is hundreds of miles long and passes through ithaca, I think you can google a map of it. Have fun!
