Just read the Provisional Entry List for Osaka on the IAAF site, and Bob Tahri is on the 1500, 5000 and the steeple. This can't be serious?

I think he'll only do two, but he'll decide later. Said Aouita once did something like this.
He should focus on the steeple...no Shaheen and no Paul Koech in Osaka. Tahri got plenty of speed in the final lap.
What happened to Paul Koech??? Wasn't he the favorite?
Tahri will only go for the steeple. He was 'robbed' of a great performance in Paris last month, when the officials miscounted the laps, and removed one of the steeples.
Tahri ran about 8:08 that day and could have run faster.
Tahri can medal in Osaka, but not sure about gold. He tends to lose it in the final lap, because he cannot rotate those super long legs of his (he is 6.4/1.90) fast enough against the best finishers. Watch out for Mustapha Mohammed of Sweden who has a great kick, and could surprise many.
And for all those who linked Tahri's name to certain dopers, none of that is true. Tahri and his best friend, Mehdi Baala, are both clean. Guaranteed.

Paul Kipsiele Koech finished 4th in the kenyan trials. He will no go to osaka, even though he has about the 4 or 5 fastest times in the world this year, including the only sub-8 this year.
