Hey all Oklahoma / Midwest Runners.
I wanted to get the word out that a running-specific film we finished recently in going to be screening in your neck of the woods at the Southern Winds Film Festival in Shawnee, Oklahoma, not far from OK City.
The film, "A Swiftly Fading Spirit" will be playing at the Hornbeck/Penthouse Theatre located at 125 N. Bell, in Shawnee on Friday, September 14th at 11pm. The price hasn't been posted yet, but shouldn't be too much, I'm hoping.
We also want to give a big shout-out and thanks to Mizuno Running (specifically Florida rep. Rick Patterson) for providing all of the equipment seen in the film.

Hope to see some of you there!

PS - we were lucky enough to get a screener copy to Bill Rogers at a running expo in Florida and he wrote a really nice letter afterwards saying "I can empathize with the young protagonist. All runners know about dodging a car on the run and struggling to survive financially as a post-collegiate runner...the young runner tried to overcome so many obstacles, but he stuck to his guns...It's a very gutty movie, just like the sport"
