so heres the deal. for various reasons completely out of my control, i was not able to clock a single mile this summer, nor will i be able to till the third day of cross. i know i am going to have more than one ever so intelligent and helpful troll post the classic "your screwed go play golf" but i want to know the best way to build a cheap substitute for a base phase. 2-a-days for a couple weeks? 3-a-days? what kinda milage should i be shooting for? my default plan is to run once or twice a day outside of practice, not more than 4 miles or anything (ive never broken 50 mpw before but i figure multiple runs will be the best way for me to get the base phase i need.) i dont plan on pushing the pace. just the milage. i want to get up past 50 mpw this season and shoot for sub 17 for sure. I NEED HELP. ANYTHING YOU CAN GIVE ME (except trollism) WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. thank you.
