Does anyone on this board take a protein supplement? Do you think it helps your running (via muscle recovery, leanness)? I read an article recently suggesting that the conventional wisdom of carbo loading is being replaced by adding a larger percentage of protein to runners diets (0.75 to 1g of weight) while balancing carbo needs. Anyway, wondering if anyone on this board takes a supplement and if so which one and whether they think it helps their running?
