Does anyone know if this is right??? And where are we going to get results if they aren't doing 'em???

This is old news. USTFCCCA is doing some results this season but mostly it's back to the pre trackshark, pre collegerunning.com days.
We can with a little work have all the results on here if people want it.
that would be exxxxxxcellent
id <3 you

Wejo, if you do this, I'll propose. And I don'ts like very much peoples sayin no to me.
Wejo,
You should have a results page where everyone can send you result page and you can just link them. Just follow the format that Trackshark uses. You will get a lot more hits during that time period.
You run one of the most influential web sites in the running industry, and yet you can't spare or apparently afford to upgrade / revamp things, and for those of whom say that it's good the way that it is have no idea what they're talking about. It's not even that your site is just old and severely outdated and apparently created for use in Windows 98, it's that the functionality is severely lacking. So all you old, let's keep things the same because we can't comprehend change men, open up your eyes.
You could still keep things simple, redo the logo, create some sort of user interface outside of the forums registration system. (A forum of which if you click on the link at the bottom for the dev site, isn't even available) Instead of having tables cluttered everywhere in a mess, you could simplify things, and clean things up while still providing the same degree of news. A RSS syndication wouldn't hurt anybody. What are you so busy with that you can't spare some time or effort to modernize a site that hundreds of thousands of runners use worldwide?!
You say it is one of the most influential running sites in the industry, and then lambast it for being technologically out of date. So, one could conclude that it is the message that is important and not how it is presented.
Why bother with RSS. The original content you can come to this site directly. The headlines that he links to he probably gets from RSS.
Letsrun is like running itself. You don't need any fancy, shmancy gear. Just run, baby.
You shoulda saw that coming from a mile away. This isn't fancy schmancy gear, it's a running website. One of which that could certainly use some updating. Seeing as the site gets millions of videos if you check out the publicly available stats (letsrun.com/stats), it's a matter of being professional and giving users a better experience. Not so much the big picture, oh go run, we like the small coffee shop feel. You still can have all of that, I think it just shows a lack of consideration for all the users, and maybe a bit of laziness.
Trackandfieldnews.com usually has links ... I would guess they'll have most of the major CC links, too. Hell, there's only a few significant meets all season until conferences. These days, top runners only run a few races hard all fall, if that. You get pre-nats, conferences, regions, nationals, plus a few invites, and that's about it.
Try and lift the RSS feeds code from TS or some other amateur volunteer website. RSS is easy to customize and let loose, then you don't have to waste time all hours editing links to content sites. Too bad RSS doesn't have an attribute which says if the content is original or not. You'll just have to live with re-written stories, links to links, links to links to links to..., lifted material, etc. There's no MPEG 7 for RSS yet.

And, yet people still flock here, hmmmm...
The only thing I think brojos could do better is organize their original content better.

thats why its called "track shark"
if they covered cross country, it would be called "cross country shark"

I think this is clearly an opening in this market niche that people want filled.
that's the thing the results on trackshark were so clutch. being able to to have every D1, D2, D3 meet results at your fingertips was really important. However, i feel like it can't be that impossible to compile the results.
If letsrun.com would do that it would be amazing and probably make the site viewership that much more.
Yeah! All 80 of us!

Shoot, if you have people email you links to meets, it would be a piece a cake. You could just as easily make a dedicated forum to where people can just post links to whatever meet results they want themselves. I could do that on my site if people wanted.

Dyestat happens to get a lot more hits per day than letsrun. That wasn't always the case. Letsrun, focusing on college and professional should have a much broader audience than dyestat, which is almost purely high school. A revamped format for the website that would include getting all those college xc results could make the website a lot more popular, and give its users a better experience.
Are Alexa numbers real or bogus. The engineering majors in my house say it's a load of crap and run by Mormons.
