Hey, I'm going to be in Santa Cruz, Monterrey, and San Francisco next week, and I know you guys will know the best places to run there so if you could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

I think the trails behind the UC Santa Cruz campus are incredible for running, definitely check those out.
From San Fran -- go north across the Golden Gate bridge. Look up to left at foothills. Get off at exit and run there. Incredible single track that goes forever...awesome veiws of the bay (city + alcatraz + angel island, etc.).

in Monterrey: Trails behind Fort Ord and CSMUB, in Seaside.
In Santa Cruz: Forrest of Nicene Marks off of 101 (State Park exit) and as someone mentioned, behind UCSC, and in Felton at Henry Cowell. Aslo, Big Basin is great.
In SF: Marin Hedlands, and GG Park.
thanks everyone, it looks like i'll be busy.
I have an Advanced Running class that meets Tuesday and Thursday in the Monterey area if you want to join us for a trail run. It will either be Fort Ord, Toro Park, or Jack's Peak Park in Monterey. Class meets at 4pm. Shoot me an email if interested.
