"Hi, my name is Moe and I'm a runaholic."
(everyone) HI, MOE!!!
If you answered "yes" to some of the above questions, you may be ready to take some steps towards recovery. These are the recommended steps of our program:
1. We admitted we were powerless over our workouts - that our runs had become unmanageable.
2. Came to believe that a coach greater than ourselves could restore us to fast times and healthy living.
3. Made a decision to turn our training log and our Nikes over to the care of JK as we understood Him.
4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of our base training, speed workouts and "easy days."
5. Admitted to Wejo, to ourselves and to another human being (perhaps Rojo, perhaps not) the exact distance of our runs.
6. Were entirely ready to have Malmo remove all these defects of character.
7. Humbly asked Hodgie-San to remove our shortcomings.
8. Made a list of all persons we had trampled and coaches we had cheated on, and became willing to make amends to them all.
9. Demonstrated our new running habits to such luminaries wherever possible, except when to do so would injure ourselves or others.
10. Continued to keep a training log and be coached and when we cheated promptly admitted it.
11. Sought through prayer and dictionary-reading to improve our conscious contact with JEH and Stepay as we understood them, praying only for knowledge of their posts and the power to tune them out.
12. Having set a bunch of PRs as the result of these changes, we tried to carry this message to Alan W., Seneca L., Regina J. and other targets and to practice these principles in all our affairs.
