Do you know who the doc in CO that he trained under?

Yes... My PT said Kelly would be a top guy to see. The guy he trained under was someone from CO so that's a bit far. Unfortunately, neither Kelly or Bezwada were participating with my insurance (health assurance/america) so I'm back to looking again. I haven't checked in with Martin yet but he's at least 8 hrs away so i'd like to find something w/in 4 hrs if possible.
I'll check out the link to see waht i can find but any other drs. I should check out?

To the guy posting as "just had this one done."
You sounded very positive about the surgery in July just after you'd had it done. How have the last 5 months gone, and what are your feelings about having the surgery now? Were you able to transition from aquajogging to actual running without problems?
I'm scheduled to get it done in a few weeks and am still debating it.
Thanks

just how common are labral tears and what usu causes them
seems lots of posters here with them
I had the dye injection and MRI and it showed labral "fraying". The pain is around a 1 out of 10 normally, a 3 out of 10 if I'm running more mileage and a 6 or 7 out of 10 when I run fast. I'm an 800m guy so I have to be able to run fast to train. When I sprint or jump, it immediately tightens up and hurts for a few days at least. The pain started last spring when I was just beginning to race and hasn't gone away with PT, steroid injection, change of shoes, yoga almost every day... My team Dr. is shopping the MRI result to a hip specialist so hopefully he will see more than the original reading revealed.
I have tightness in my left hamstring, left sacro-iliac joint, clicking deep in left hip when i flex my left glute, extreme pinching/tightness when I open my left hip by placing my left foot to the inside of my right thigh and let the knee rotate outward (tree pose). It's been 11 months, I'm 26 years old, so I'm really ready for the surgery. Not many 30+ year olds out there killing it in the 800 so I need to be able to do this soon. Any similar experiences?
