In coach vigil's book i remember he said something like there is nothing more strenuous on running than heat and humidty.
I wanted to see how many can textify. I am a college student home for the summer and it is hot and humid here. Much more then it has been most of the year. Durring track season I was able to run like 6:20/mile for 7 miles with my average heart rate 160bpm. This morning I ran 6:20/mile for 6 miles and my average heart rate is 169bpm. Not just heart rate though, it is just harder to run well in the summer.
I am also curious what you guys say about running through the summer even when things arnt going smooth as durring track. do you think i will come back stronger than ever even though i am down right now? or am I down and running at slower paces and harder efforts is just wearing me out or whatever?
I dont know, just curious what you guys think.
