It's probably out of your mileage range, but if you get over to Ann Arbor, the Arboretum is a fantastic place to run.
Feel free to email me and I'll be glad to help you out. There are quite a few good places, but you have to know where to look, and sometimes be willing to drive a bit.
Ditto to what Greg said. I work in Grosse Pointe Woods and either run Lake Shore or I go to Dodge Park, Stony Creek, Metro Beach, Paint Creek and others. You have to travel 20-25 miles to get any hills though. SE Michigan is f-l-a-t.
I recommend you contact Greg. He's a good man.
One of the Hanson's stores is in Grosse Pointe Woods. They have a group run from the store once or twice a week. Get in touch with them and I'm sure they can give details or give you other ideas.
Grosse Pointe is where i do a lot of my evening runs, the general people are friendly and the cars are concious of you crossing streets. Along the lake on Lakeshore Drive is nice, but if you want trails, the closest place is Stoney Creek Metro Park. I only head out there for 15+ milers. If you like Marinas then you can run and weave in and out of the marinas from 9Mile Rd. to 10 Mile Rd on Jefferson. Get at me if you have any other questions about the Grosse pointe area, I know pretty much everything.
stoney creek, metro beach (probably the closest "large" park to you), the hansons group runs, etc etc
If you like hills... head to rochester/rochester hills and there are some AMAZING runs out there
if fact, I am heading there right now to run myself
Do you know about one kid that used to run around there with a confederate flag bandana on his head? I haven't talked to him in a while, but others say all he does is run now and spend time with his gf
maybe he spends a bit of time on letsrun lately it seems though...

Yeah i think i do know that kid, but i think he grew out of that confederate bandanna phase. That does pretty much seem like his life; running, g/f, sleep and food, well Letsrun while he is at work.
If you don't mind getting attacked by a dog.

I think that 8 mile road has some good trails, just weave in and out of the trailers...you might even see Eminem, tell him I said "What up"
Don't bother driving all the way to Ann Arbor, the running there is overrated. If you can get up to Rochester, you can hit Bloomer, Stoney, and Bald Mountain. Paint Creek and the Clinton River trail are rail trails, so it's easy not to get lost, although they can get boring.
Stony creek is great, also, if you want to drive to pontiac lake rec area, they have tons of dirt roads and trails, you couldn't run them all in a week, unless you are planning 10 miles a day. if it is during the day, along the lake there are some great bike paths. pretty much everyones running suggestions are great, there are some hidden gems if you look

The Arb is good, but small. You ould probably squeak a 10 miler out of it though.
I would try trunning out in the Rochester area, Paint Creek Trail. The Hansons team trains there every day almost.
Another good place within 30 miles is downtown detroit, around 6 mile and woodward. Bring a gun.
If you want to make the trip up to Rochester you could use the the courses listed here. There are several that start at Stoney Creek High that will put you on dirt roads right from the start, and it's an easy place to park.
Don't try to find "Oz to Quarry Hill to Oz" because that's in Rochester, NY!
