I'm all for comaraderie and good sportsmanshiip, but why give away good traing ideas?
If most on this forum are competitors, why give away good training ideas if someone else can use it to beat you?
I think those who give up training secrets are satisfying some other objective other than to make others faster.
Perhaps it's the Cliff Claven(Cheers) mentality.
Ideas of value, injury protection, stats, results, biographical info.,help to emotionally destressed serve others well, without compromising your edge.
Training is a private affair. Those who offer advice are behaving as blow hards.
Training is unique to each person and to say someone needs to run this number of miles or this type of interval diludes the essence of individuality.
The only exception is to give general sound advice to juniors that keeps them healthy.
It's like those investment books, advisors on TV that tell you how to pick stocks. If it's so good, why give up the secret? Rediculous!
