That's great that they were RANKED 7th in a POLL, but I think they actually FINISHED 18TH last year. Also, according to the national results they return one of their top 4, John Moore. The also get 5, 6 and 7 back though who finished 147, 158, 186 respectively in the team scores.
Don't get me wrong, they had a great track season with Moore running 28:37 and Kilburg breaking 29. I don't remeber the third who broke 29 but I think one was close, like 29:06 or so.
You need more than 3 to be a top 5 team.
They finished 18th without that 3rd guy who broke 29, Kinsella, who ended up getting 12th in the 10k. So he didn't play a role in that XC season at all.
