Whoop di doo.
nice run, shame about mlf
good stuff, Marlon has been hard at it for a while and very consistant- bodes well for a 20:00 200m. Give a guy credit where it's due
at 31 the guy is doing good.
According to another website he has been disqualified. I watched it live and it said 10.08 in the results.
Now saying 10.20. Whats going on?
Marlon ran 10.20 in B race and then got a lane in A-Race. He ran 10.08 in A-Race but was DQd as rules say you can't run A and B race at same meet.
The 10.08 was a fantastic run for him but at the end of the day it'll count for shit.
great night all round for the Brits - Idowu had a good win in the TJ beating Olsson and World Leader Gregorio with Douglas in a good 4th place too.
1 IDOWU, Phillips GBR 17.35(+0.9)
2 OLSSON, Christian SWE 17.33(+1.2)
3 WILSON, Aarik USA 17.26 (0.0)
4 DOUGLAS, Nathan GBR 17.18 (+1.2)
5 GREGORIO, Jadel BRA 17.12 (-0.4)
look what event took place at 17:00 according to that site!! freakin' hilarious!
3.38 for Mccormick and a 3:52 mile for Baddeley!!! Chalfen - how good are those spaniards he beat? I find it a bit tricky putting mile performances into context

when you look at the distance thrown it is even more incredible :-)
Despite a head wind measured at 1.1 metres per second, Marlon Devonish (Coventry Godiva Harriers) prepared for the 200m at next weekend’s European Cup Super League in Munich by lowering his 100m season’s best to 10.20 seconds. It earned him victory in the B race, eight-hundredths of a second ahead of runner-up Nesta Carter (Jamaica) with the 2005 European Junior silver medallist Simeon Williamson (Highgate Harriers) third in 10.49, his fastest so far this season.
Then Devonish found himself at odds with the IAAF for doing the meeting organisers a favour – after running the fastest 100m of his life. He was asked to run in the 100m A race after Michael Frater (USA) suffered an injury while warming-up. He did so – and clocked 10.08 seconds – but was then disqualified under an IAAF rule that stipulates an athlete cannot contest both an A and B race at the same Golden League meeting. World record holder Asafa Powell (Jamaica) won in a season’s best of 9.94 seconds with European champion Francis Obikwelu (Portugal) second in 10.06. Devonish’s 10.08 eclipsed his lifetime best of 10.13 seconds way back in 1998. But once he had been DQ’d, Mark Lewis-Francis (Birchfield Harriers) was elevated to fourth in 10.25.
mccormick about 5 seconds down on two years ago and baddley flying
3:51 for mile for badders
