I've pushed a good pair to 7.
you shouldnt just expect anything from them, you have to show respect for them 1st
I went for a 12 miler this morning. The shoes wore out at about 8 miles so I took them off, threw them away and came home barefoot.
I've always heard about 400-500 miles
7,345 if you run on water

Depends on the shoe, your size, and the surface you run on, but I generally get 800 or so out of a pair.
I work at a running shoe store, and I think I at least somewhat know what I am talking about. If you are running in lighweight trainers expect 250-350, moderate cushiioning 350-450, and maiximum cushioning 450-550. A lot depends on your weight, footstrike, ect.
