Stop it! did you not see Alan Webb's 3:52 I'm scared.

Word was that callous officials were tired of cutting the guy slack on drug testing, that he needed a new excuse other than being from a poor third world country. Jos Hermens vows that Repoxygen cannot be detected and that his top charge will be back on track gunning for records in 4 - 6 weeks.

Yesterday I did, possibly under a different screen name. I just figured with such a strong field and him not really having a spectacular run at Hengelo, he would not take the risk. Probably he is not in shape for a really fast time and probably does not think he can win a kickers' race with a guy like Webb in there...so low probability of winning is not going to help his confidence right now...better to sit it out...

I don't doubt that you are wrong. I think Bekele probably doesn't want to lose to Tadesse in a fast race and in a slower race he may even lose to someone like Webb. If his training has been going poorly as some have reported he is not likely to be sharp enough to outkick Webb, or any number of other Africans and Mottram...

Allen Webb makes the right choices in contesting the two miles in regards to the mile at the Prefontaine invitational athletics meeting,because the winds are strong for the athletes in the mile,there is not a conceivalbe chance to develop the pace needed to eclipse an American record of 3'47 in the subpar conditions the mile has consistently been contested under.If you have a desire to discuss Kenenisa then he has not suddently discovered that he contains only 90 per cent fitness against the field of athletes who have been called to contest the two miles this is simply untrue when he had been tested almost two weeks ago for the level of internal fitness and medical levels known for Kenenisa's excellent running.The pacer has been requested in honour of Kenenisa's wishes to run 5'03 for the fifth segment of the race but this should remain optimistic in Kenenisa's departure from the field.

Hey some of you here talk about allan having bigger balls. that's great. I know we are having fun but come on Can you run a 12:39 and outkick someone in 5K then you have balls at the end. You see bekele uses one of his balls in the middle of the race and one in the last 225 yards. So at the end he has no balls. If you are going to run 3:49 for a mile of course you have balls at the end like allan but try running a 3:44 pace in the beginning and then see if you have balls at the end. No distrespect to Allan I love the guy infact i am glad he made that move some of you who think he should have stuck with the mile you guys stink and you stunk. The more he runs with Africans the more he will get use to them and get a feel for them. So the African way of running to Allan I say Go out with those guys fast Hold on to them in the middle because that's where they kill you and give it all u got at the end and even if you lose or drop out. At least u did the beginning and the middle with them. Gradually you build balls for the end. So don't let them go in the middle of race Allan. I rather have him lose but stuck with them the whole way for a faster and better time. As far as who has balls. who cares. Unfortunately Bekele has the smallest balls and has the 5K and 10K record so it's just being disrespectful to say he has no balls.
