The final is set.
I'd say Brown has to be the favorite after winning last year and indoors this year. If not him, I'd put my money on Solomon or Ellerton.

Yeah, he can win
If the final comes down to the final 200m than NO I don't think he can continue to pull it off. There is always someone who can kick. If however, he MAKES the race, and everyone has to work to catch him, he sure is strong enough to hold on, yes?
ummmmmmmmmmmmm, have you ever seen Ryan Brown MAKE a race before? I don't think he has led a race in his life. He always comes from behind for the win, that is his strength.
maybe. but only because lopez isn't running.
I AGREE! Yea he can win but he is automatcially 3rd place because there is NO LOMONG AND NO LANCANSHIRE (1:45 alone), I wish the talent would run their races and dominate these posers!!

Are you f*cking kidding me? If he wins the race his is the national champion.
3rd place RYAN, plus "IF" hahaha, HE WON'T WIN!
If anyone is picking duana soloman FTW...they are basically picking ryan brown.
No one can match Brown's thunderous kick from 150 meters out. If he's anywhere near the front with 200 to go it's game over..
The women's 800 final is very impressive.. 2:04 to make the final!! Holy Moly!

Of course, because Lomong did such an amazing job blowing Brown's doors off last year...
1 Ryan Brown JR Washington 1:46.29 10
2 Tim Bayley JR Iona 1:46.64 8 (UK - 50th all time)
3 Prince Mumba JR Oral Roberts 1:46.80 6
4 Joseph Lomong FR Northern Arizona 1:47.28 5
5 Duane Soloman SO Southern California 1:47.45 4
6 Thomas Chamney JR Notre Dame 1:47.64 3
7 Tim Harris SO Miami 1:47.66 2
8 Wil Fitts SR Baylor 1:48.10 1
And for those of you don't know, Yes, that is Lopez Lomong in 4th place, one full second behind Brown.
As a brit I'd like to put Tim Bayley's name in the hat - I see he has qualified again for the final and im backing him to go one better this year. He is a very good tactical runner and has a good kick and great strength.
I'm picking Ellerton. But Brown could certainly pull it off.

Brown ran a stupid race.
Where did he end up? I can't find results anywhere.
