Let me preface this by saying that I am a firm believer in specificity (sp?) of training. I have always tried to use whatever drink was being used in my next Marathon durring my training for it. If it was Gatorade, I would use that durring my training to get my body used to it.
I am curious about using something differnet, like Accelerade, durring training. I am not good enough to have my own bottles on the course, so I would have to use Gatorade, or whatever, durring the race. I'm wondering if there may be a benefit to using something different durring training that may allow me to do it a bit better. Is there any chance of my body rebelling against this, when it has been used to something else.
