She's probably going to be able to run a much faster 10k than that. I think she ran that time by herself, and probably just to qualify. Why she's not running the 5k is a mystery though. It's two days after the 5k ... what is there to lose? And you'd think with a 5k time that good she'd go for that over the 10k.
Poor choice of the night goes to Amherst, who declared two girls in the 10k, Steeple, and 5k. Why run the 10k when they're much better at steeple? I would have pegged Shauneen for obvious winner in the steeple, but not anymore...
